A: Rustic furniture can be made from many different
woods, including: cedar, hickory, cypress, and pine. Pine is not
the best wood because it is sappy, soft, and not as durable as other
woods. White cedar is excellent, because it is not sappy at all.
Aromatic cedar is a beautiful wood… For the most part, whichever
wood you choose depends on what look you want -- whether you want
a dark wood or a knotty wood, etc.
